The captain has the authority to deem whether weather conditions are “charterable” or “uncharterable” due to weather conditions. Uncharterable weather conditions are typically the result of (but are limited to) heavy storms, small craft advisory warnings, gale storms, strong winds, and large waves. Light rain and passing storms are typically considered charterable.
In case that conditions are deemed uncharterable, our team will work with the charterer to temporarily postpone or reschedule your charter.
Full refunds on cancellations up until 5 days before the booking start date. 50% refund for cancellations between 2-5 days before the booking start date. Cancellations within 2 days of the booking start date are non-refundable.
All requests for cancellations and changes must be made in writing via email to support@epiccruisechicago.com by the Charterer. Please include the following information:

We suggest that all parties bring their own bags of ice to keep their beverages cold. Additionally, we recommend that guests bring their own bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, food, and beverages.
Onboard we provide a complimentary cooler, full refrigerator/freezer, kitchen utensils, bottle opener, disposable cups napkins, and disposable plates for you to use.
For safety purposes the U.S. Coast Guard regulates that you and 11 guests, for a total of 12 people per cruise. Who’s in your 12?

Charters start at the agreed start time – For your benefit, please arrive 20 minutes early. Parking is available and rideshare is even easier. You choose where to go and what to do! You are the boss! Work with your captain on what you want your experience to be.
If you think that you will be late for the trip, please let us know immediately. Your captain will wait for you, but this does not mean that we will the extend trip. Shortened trips due to tardiness will not be prorated, discounted, or refunded. We recommend that you arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
For all guests, please park either at the 31st Street Harbor indoor parking lot garage located within the harbor at 3155 S. Lake Shore Dr. Chicago, IL (click HERE for rates) or at the outdoor parking lot located at 641 East 31st Street Chicago, IL (click HERE for rates). The outdoor parking lot is located on the south side of 31st Street just west of Lake Shore Drive.
